About Us

The CEIBS Alumni Africa Chapter was established in Accra on December 9th 2011 as a non- profit organization in accordance with the provisions stated in the China Europe International Business School Alumni Chapter Resource Manual. As a Chartered alumni group of the China Europe International Business School (“CEIBS”) Alumni Association (“CAA”); the chapter kept growing steadily and it was divided into a Ghana and a Nigeria Chapter on July 6th 2014. The Association acts as the link among alumni in CEIBS and Africa and as the community of alumni in Ghana, encourage alumni to make contribution to the alma mater’s development and help alumni become more successful by providing relevant assistance and service; promote the CEIBS brand and increase CEIBS visibility and competitiveness; and unite the alumni to promote mutual economic development of Ghana and China.

Our Task

Build the alumni network in Ghana, regularly organize inter-chapter communication and activities; organize alumni anniversary reunions, and promote communications among alumni.

Our Activities

1) We support the Global CAA’s activities in Ghana including info-sessions, recruiting activities, conferences and MBA tours.

2) We also assist the CAA to select distinguished alumni every year.

3) Furthermore, we facilitate the Ghanaian alumni’s contact with CEIBS; build and maintain an online community with access to personal information and updates, alumni information enquiry, and forum website visits etc.

4) We encourage the alumni to contribute to the development of Ghana, China and CEIBS.

Membership & Participation

Membership is open to CEIBS (including CEMI) graduates (MBA, EMBA, EDP Module) and international exchange students who accept the CAAGC Charter and are willing to join CAAGC and pay membership dues. Membership is granted upon submission of an application to CAAGC and upon CAAGC’s approval. All members are encouraged to become dues paying members of CAA. However, this Chapter will allow and encourage all CEIBS alumni; current and former CEIBS students; alumni family members; current and former CEIBS faculty and employees; and, friends of CEIBS to participate in Chapter sponsored events. 

Honourary Membership

Non – alumni can become honorary CAAGC member upon nomination by a member of CAAGC Committee Council and approved by simple majority vote within the Council. Honorary members shall have all the same rights as any other CAAGC member.

6) International hospitality: If you are travelling to an unfamiliar area and would like advice or assistance from someone with local knowledge, the Alumni Network is available to give you much needed guidance.
